My favorite spell is stonefist from origins. I know it sucks, but narratively i just like the idea of punching a dude from across the room.

Favorite spell is Glyph of Paralysis from Origins. Paralysis can absolutely change the tide of any fight. It's a level one spell, so you can get it very early in the game. It targets physical resistance, so magic resistant enemies are still susceptible, and it has a low mana cost. The Paralysis explosion trick is just icing on the cake

Favorite spell definitely has to go to Mark of the Rift, without question. There's been many interesting spells throughout the series but beyond the magical finishers in 2, theres been no spell or ability that really signifies who our character is, but ripping open a literal tear in reality to wipe the battlefield of opponents using a magical construct seared onto our hand that was meant to tear down the Veil really gives our Inquisitor god like status.

Big fan of Fade Step in Inquisition, good utility and positioning and the upgrades give you a choice between pure utility and mana regen or a chill debuff on enemies which can really come in clutch for moments where something has gone wrong and you need to stall while barrier is recharging. Also means I don’t need to use the awful mounts because I need to hear the amazing party banter xD

I dunno, I kind of feel bad for the serial killer, personally. Dude doesn’t want to have the urges they do but, as Aveline puts it, they’re just “born broken”.

I think my favorite spell is actually crushing prison from origins. It combines crowd control and dps, taking an enemy out of the fight for a bit while damaging them over time, useful for annoying enemies such as other mages that could heal enemies or crowd control your party potentially causing party wipes if you have not gotten to potices level of power yet. Where you can face tank a magical nuke and only be knocked over.

The commentary got really out of sync with the gameplay near the end.

Ok but a Cullen Romance in Inquisition, with the out of game knowledge of the VA, would be hilariously messed up.

Favourite spell is probably cone of cold. It’s pretty much an auto freeze and the damage isn’t bad either. Plus, since Morrigan already starts with Winter’s Grasp, it’s pretty easy to get to.

Qunarie design in Origins is GOAT. The horned qunari looks gay.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but, I kinda agree with Biden's idea on The Circle governance.

My favorite spell has to be Blood Wound it's simply to broken not to take unless I'm role-playing something specific for my mage character. Honorable mention to shapeshift Spider not only to mess with arachnophobes like Joe or my sister in law but also cause of a dnd session I played with a druid who wild shaped into a giant spider and made a bridge with silk to save the party from the mercenaries chasing us.

Been loving the content boys keep it up. As for the Inquisition romance I usually am into battle couples but Josephine is one of the exceptions I find her to be absolutely adorable, her accent is great, she is a great diplomat with excellent patient and communication, also I got a thing for smart girls. For Origins Leliana is that girl who’s been around the block and now just wants to live a life that is worth living being the best she can try to be, her accent lovely, strongly loving loyal to you with no hundred red flags all over her cough cough Morrigan. DA2 Isabela looks and acts like a whore but really she just a big time adventurer who wants to be happy even if it means sometimes amoral, kicks ass, tells it like it is, has a good heart underneath that carefree attitude. Veilgaurd Bellara total dork through and through her insecurely about not being worth chasing after I can relate to but she a really sweetie. For the guys Alistair dude’s a total dork, Fenris got just the right amount of angst, Dorian chill guy who makes your life better anyway he can for you, Emmrich for being total nerd and gentlemen. By the way if you don’t want to read all this for the video that’s fine

It might be boring to talk about in these videos but maybe in its own, I would be very interested in seeing all your companions tactics set ups. Especially playing on nightmare I know those are very important.

This is my personal unrequested feedback. The contest been money only is a good monetary idea but a part of me would like that there is another condition. My other feedback is that this writing made the presidents the a mouth piece for the creator rather than their own character the rant about the fallout show comes to mind. I would have to say the grey warden blood magic tree in origins is probably my favorite.(although I’m not sure what a skill tree is) however one of my staff has told me a blood mage/Templar reaver build can be quite powerful… whatever that is I’m sure he’s right. Next I would like to address president Biden’s seemingly un-natural attraction to the elf named merrill. President Biden your attractions for the eleven race though understandable in some cases I would remind you that you have a wife and I would hate to inform her of your… ahem certain urges. To president Trump I would simply remind you not to make potential friends into enemies. The elves can be useful… in the magic sense and defensive spells. To president Obama I once more have to thank you for those 48 atomic bombs,they helped me in the conquest of thadis. Also I would say that the werewolves are a necessary evil in defeating the blight, their ability to destroy darkspawn is second only to the goloms of the anvil of the void. Also president Biden I changed the nuclear codes when I took office and revoked your security clearance due to your… urges for eleven blood mages. Ps I believe since Donald and Joe got to romance their picks it’s only right that Barack gets to choose his… especially if the rumors of his pending divorce is true.

My favorite spell throughout the series has always been Crushing Prison. Great utility with good damage too

Cold of cold or winters grasp, it combos really well with warriors and Rogues for the shatter bonus damage if they fail the save for freezing.

QoTD, cheat anwser. The gravity mage branch in DA2, being able to pull in enemies than raise and slam them into an expulsion 3 spell combo, was like being a Jedi. Real answer, the slash spell from Knigh Enchanter in Inquisition. Simple because of how broken it was before being patched. Had a character where I soloed the dragon because of how busted the class and that spell was. I have a soft spot for the curses in Origins always, too.

My favorite spell has always been fireball. Fire ball go boom!

I've always been partial to the walking bomb spells. It allows for a focus fire on a lower health person to do AOE. Virulent walking bomb ends up being a way to fast clear fights with very little effort.

Favorite spell, I wanna say the barrier spell from inquisition. That spell has helped make my team stronger, and it synergies with the knight enchanter spellblade, it's always a go-to pick for me if I play mage, though I do wanna try rift mage. Also something about Merril's clan I learned is that Bellara makes mention of the Sabrae clan in veilguard, so I guess canonical the clan survive, tho makes me wonder when that episode rolls around who will play it.

Shapeshift (Spider): Because I want the ability to torment arachphobes (like Joe) on demand and being a spider sounds really great. Can make money from selling the webs. Can climb hard to reach places. Can eat insects. Also. I'm waitinig for Donnie and his buddy to realize that they both want the same thing. For the Templars and Mages to stop pretending and just try to kill eachother already.

Donald really needs to understand the long game cause damn werewolf is a vastly dumb idea. I’m a warrior reaver at heart so I know nothing about spells.

My favorite spell is Spirit Blade from Inquisition. Arcane Warrior was my favorite specialization in Origins, and Knight-Enchanter feels like a solid successor to my favorite. Being a mage that can charge into the frontline with Cassandra and Ironbull is so satisfying. Even post nerf it can be paired with other spells like arcane barrage to bring its charges up for a juicy damage boost. Take it a step further by smithing a staff that grants guard with each successful hit and you’ve made a mage tank that can stand side-by-side or toe-to-toe with any Templar (take that Donald! Mage mains rise!)

I actually never liked how absolutely everyone agrees with ending Kelder. He’s either a tragic case of mental illness, or the victim of a very cautious demon, even though circle claims he’s not possessed in any way. At the very least Aveline should grudgingly remark that it’s her duty to bring him back. I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but seeing how Kelder is begging for Hawke to end him, I think it’s very cold to just look at him as someone who deserves to be cut down.

Man, I missed out on Joe gooning over the Blood Mage. Anyways, to answer the question, my favorite spell has to be Fade Cloak from Inquisition. The way that ability works it's basically Dragon Age's version of Obito's Kamui, or at least I like to think of it that way. Also, I wouldn't mind taking a look at Former President Barak Obama's Warhammer Models. I bet he has a Teagan Marine or something.

In Inquisition I almost always play a mage since it makes the most thematic sense for me with the new rift powers. That being said the best of those powers is easily Firestorm and if I could only pick one it would be that every time.

My fav spell is a bit basic but they go so hard and are so good no matter the level: Fireball and Winters Grasp. Very reliable damage and cc across all games respectively. You can spec into having fire or ice do more and you’d never really lose value it’s just one would hit harder than the other depending on your build
